Tom Gentry: 20 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: I'd heard through other driver's about the company and all remarks were good.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: The people from the office and shop. Always work to be done. Excellent equipment, but mainly office and shop staff.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Steve Nish kicking a trash can through the shop! Going to the Sharp races, working and knowing everyone.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Family get togethers, camping, fishing down to Lake Mead, going to Disneyland with family.

Danny "Gold Buckle" Johnson: 15 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: Friend said it was a great place to work.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Always been treated like a person instead of a number. Great family and work environment to be a part of.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Convoying with 7 other Sharp trucks to Boise, ID back in the day. And getting my belt buckles at the Christmas parties.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Braaaap!! Snowmobiling and fishing.

Dave Anderson: 10 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: It's a friendly place close to home.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: This is a good place to work and the best equipment I have ever been in.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: The great people I've met and work with.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Fish, and boat with friends while camping.

Jeremy Mills: 10 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: Referral from an employee.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Great job and employer.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Meeting and working with good people and friends.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Camping, dirt bike riding and family time.

Eric Peterson: 10 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: I had heard good things about Sharp's, solid company, great looking fleet, good job opportunity.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Opportunity to grow with the company, family feeling with all the other employees, good friends and camaraderie.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: I have many, one at the top was on 10-8-08 5 or so over the road drivers and Rick Hall and myself all took loads to a new Sportsman in Vegas. We all stood around in the parking lot waiting to deliver. The next morning down there, the drivers told one funny story after another, freaking hilarious! Bout peed my pants laughing.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Spending time with my dad and daughter, horse racing, photography, classic car shows, music festivals and anything with family.

Kerry Vest: 10 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: In Cache Valley, local, able to work around my boys schedules (custody, sports, school activities, etc.).

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: The company has been good about working around my boys schedules, that has meant the world to me. Overall I've been treated well.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Christmas parties at the the Copper Mill.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Camp, fish water sports, attending my sons sporting events.

Alabe Garza: 10 Years

A: Got asked if I wanted a job.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Good place to work.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Keep going.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Work on my houses.

Todd Olsen: 10 Years

A: Was recommended by another driver.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Good people.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: Seeing all the country with my wife.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Visit with grandkids and spend time with my wife.

Jarrod Echols: 5 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: I wanted to work for a local company that was small enough to know you by name but big enough to handle the ups and downs of the trucking industry.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: As a driver for 17 years. I've never worked for a company that had a family atmosphere, where they are concerned about your well being and listened to your concerns.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: The day I hired on. Best choice I've ever made.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: I spend all my weekends with my kidos. We love the outdoors and going out on the town.

James Byrd: 5 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: Heard was a great place to work, small enough to care about drivers.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: Family oriented and all the staff calls me by name not a number.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Our crazy family get togethers, fishing, Alaska trips and just being together.

Brett Hansen: 5 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: I had worked for Sharp before and Mark, Zan, Vivian and Steve Nish were good to me when I was there.

Q: What made you want to stay all these years?

A: I love my tractor and being local.

Q: What's your best memory you have working at Sharp's?

A: The races at RMR in 96' and playing softball with the crew.

Q: What do you like to do with family and friends outside of work?

A: Snowmobiling, mountain biking, camping, playing guitar, working on stuff- restoring things and just being with family.

Tom Howell: 5 Years

A: I was looking for a regional job with good pay and good home time.

Q: What made you stay all these years?

A: Home time, pay and good people to work with.

Q: What do you like to do with friends or family outside of work?

A: Hunting and fishing.

Jacob Stacy: 5 Years

A: Was told the company was good to work for and would work with my school schedule.

A: The company is fun to work for and easy to work with.

A: I love to fish and hang with the family.

Wayne Gabrish: 5 Years

A: When I moved out here 5 years ago I was looking for a small company that fit what I was looking for.

Q: What made you stay all these years?

A: I liked the the work and the friendly family like environment that is here.

Scott Parry: 5 Years

Q: What made you want to hire on?

A: The possibility of having regional-dedicated runs and home regularly.

Q: What made you stay all these years?

A: The annual income is great. More importantly to me, the owner Zan Sharp and safety department. Mark Adams and Bo Sharp have been beyond supportive. Along with the dispatchers awareness and fairness of me as a driver. They are the best, very on top of things.

Randy Barber: 5 Years

A: Needed a job.

A: Like the route.

Q: What do you like to do with friends or family outside of work?

A: Eat.
